Digital Wuchang Uprising museum launched in central China

WUHAN (Xinhua) — A digital “museum” detailing the Wuchang Uprising of the 1911 Revolution was published Sunday in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei province.

The Wuchang Uprising represented the beginning of the 1911 Revolution, which overthrew the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) one century ago and ended 2,000 years of dynastic rule.

500-meter-high skyscraper to become tallest building in Beijing

“The Smurfs” theme park planned in southwest China

Singapore museum secures deal to buy three dinosaur fossils

SINGAPORE (Xinhua) — A Singapore museum finally secured a deal to buy three dinosaur fossils from a company in Wyoming, the United States, thanks to a mysterious donor who agreed to give millions of dollars, local media reported on Wednesday.

The bones will be the star attraction at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, which will be completed by 2014, the Straits Times said.
