Moraine Lake, Canadian Rockies

One of the world’s most amazing and breath-taking sights to see is the Canadian Rockies in (of course) Canada. The Canadian Rockies is the Canadian segment of the North American mountain ranges. It is the easternmost part of the Canadian Cordillera or the mountains of Western Canada. Its highest peak is Mount Robson and Mount Columbia as its second highest. The Canadian Rockies is different in terms of looks and composition compared to that of the American Rockies (found on the south of it). The Canadian Rockies appears shorter than the American Rockies. It is comprised of sedimentary rocks such as limestone while American Rockies is part metamorphic and igneous rock. The Canadian Rockies appear more pointed in edges while American Rockies are more rounded. These mountain ranges have four National Parks within it with four of it making up the World Heritage Site.
