May is the time for moms and Fernwood Hotel and Resort in the Poconos has created a no cook weekend with a Mother’s Day Package May 7 – 10, that includes two tickets to the Mother’s Day Buffet, a complimentary late check-out at 3 pm on Sunday and hotel accommodations for two nights for just $199. Gina Bertucci, spokesperson for Fernwood Hotel and Resort, said, “This is the perfect way to give mom a break. Take her to a Pocono Mountain getaway. You can let her relax by the indoor pool with a good book, go shopping, or take her hiking, then bring her to the Grand Mother’s Day buffet on Sunday.”
Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a 440-acre Pocono Mountain resort located off I-80 in Pennsylvania adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. It offers both hotel and villa accommodations with 18 hole golf, restaurants, indoor pools, saunas, live entertainment, children’s activities that include craft making gift activities geared towards moms, horseback riding, and massage therapy on property or at one of the Pocono Mountain spas.
