“Show Us Your Australia” Photo Contest

Fodor’s Travel partners with Tourism Australia and Swain Tours to announce the co-sponsorship of travel photography contest, “Show Us Your Australia” through which one grand prize winner will win a trip for two to Melbourne and Adelaide, Australia.
From October 6th through November 5th, visitors to Fodors.com can upload and share their favorite photos and experiences of Australia with other travelers. The winning photographer will receive an “Ultimate Food, Wine, and Nature Walkabout Tour,” highlighting locales in and around Melbourne and Adelaide, complimentary airfare, and accommodations for themselves and a guest, at a value of seven thousand dollars.
The trip, provided by Tourism Australia and Swain Tours, will include explorations of nature parks, museums, wineries, and gourmet markets. Ten runner-up winners will have their photographs featured in a slideshow on Fodors.com and win two Fodor’s guides of their choice and all photographs will be considered for publication in the upcoming edition of Fodor’s Australia guidebook.
Visit www.fodors.com/contest/Australia to submit a photo and read a full list of rules. Photo submissions will be accepted through November 5th, 2009. Fodor’s has previously run photo contests for Ireland, Greece, National Parks, Argentina, Turkey, Israel, Maryland, New Mexico, Costa Rica, California, Florida, and Alaska. Winning photos from these contests can be seen on www.fodors.com.
